Partner, Josh Strief, Awarded the Iowa Defense Counsel Association's Top Honor, the 2023 Edward F. Seitzinger Award
The Iowa Defense Counsel Association (IDCA) has awarded Elverson Vasey partner, Josh Strief, with the 2023 Edward F. Seitzinger Award. In 1988, the IDCA board created the Edward F. Seitzinger Award, dubbed “The Eddie Award,” to honor Edward Seitzinger, the founder and first president of IDCA, for his continuous, complete dedication to IDCA for its first 25 years. This award is presented annually to the IDCA Board member who contributed most to IDCA during the year. It is considered the IDCA’s most prestigious award.
Josh has been a member of IDCA since 2014 and has been on the Board of Governors since 2021. He presently serves as chair of IDCA's Legislative Committee. Josh is also a member of the Board of Editors for IDCA's Defense Update publication and assists with several other IDCA committees.
