Josh Strief Publishes Article in Iowa Defense Counsel Association’s Defense Update Publication

Based in part on his experiences during a successful jury trial, Josh Strief’s article entitled “Leveraging the Exceptions: Navigating Iowa’s Collateral Source Rule” was published in the Winter 2020 edition of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association’s quarterly publication, Defense Update. The article provides an in-depth review of Iowa’s Collateral Source Rule, its exceptions, and possible uses of the exceptions during trial. Defense Update is distributed to members of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, a group known as a trusted voice for the defense of civil litigants in Iowa.
