Max Burkey joined Elverson Vasey in 2013 after working for 25 years as a partner at Ekstrom & Burkey with his wife, Susan Ekstrom. His practice areas include probate law, worker’s compensation, and personal injury.
Max grew up in Garrison, Iowa and served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1968. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and subsequently received a Juris Doctorate from Drake University in 1976. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1976.
